Genesis Series - Custom Made to Order Only
Genesis desks are characterized by their elegant and unique leg design, in perfect tune with tops in the following finishes: oak wood (wedge stained or natural), glass (transparent or red) and leather (in main colours mocha or cream). The independent desk legs are sturdy, shiny aluminum castings, each with three support points for the top to ensure perfect stability of all desk versions. The legs also feature a vertical trim in carbon fibre for a high-tech look, or in saddle-stitched leather, giving the desks a more elegant and sophisticated appearance.

Desk Tops:
The tops are available in three versions - wood, glass and leather. The three top versions can be combined with a plywood front panel veneered with natural or wedge-stained oak, with a chromium plated steel finishing strip at the bottom. As an option, the desk can be fitted with an elegant leather cable tray: fixed transversally across the legs, an adjustable steel rod runs through it to control the flexibility of the cable casing. A leather sheath can also be fitted down the leg, through which the cables can be fed upwards. Another version allows two of the legs to be replaced with a structural bridge extension, 40 mm thick, in veneered wood, with the top attached at 45° and with sides featuring chromium plated steel finishing strip.
Wood version: made of 30mm MDF (medium density fibreboard), the top is chamfered round the edges, veneered with natural or wedge-stained oak and finished with several coats of opaque polyurethane varnish. The desk top is enhanced by a slim, shiny aluminum narrow band that runs across it lengthways.
Leather version: the MDF top is covered with saddle-stitched leather and finished at all four corners with shiny aluminum corner caps. In this case too, a slim, shiny aluminum narrow band runs along the entire length of the desk.
Glass version: 12 mm tempered glass - transparent or screen-printed in an exclusive burgundy colour - the top is finished with a straight, polished edge around the entire perimeter.

Extensions:
Versatile extensions can be placed next to the desks, featuring the same finishes as the tops in all combinations of wood, glass and leather. Three types of extension structure are available, in which the support component consists of either a drawer unit without casters, or shiny cast aluminum legs, or a bridge extension structure. The 40 mm bridge extension is in veneered wood, like the top, is attached at 45° and features sides complete with chromium plated steel finishing strip at the bottom. Free-standing extensions, mounted on casters, are in 40 mm MDF with wood veneer. They are available with drawer fronts or doors either in wood, or in MDF covered with saddle-stitched leather, while the sides are always fitted with chromium plated steel finishing strip at the bottom. The inside of the free-standing extension unit is designed to take drawers or a pull-out printer shelf. |
